About

Why Door of Hope?

The Door of Hope community is formed from a gathering of ordinary people, from all walks of life, who together explore what it means to have a relationship with God. We believe that people and community matter.

We welcome and accept all people, as they are, into our friendly and encouraging environment. Our hope is that all people, who desire to, will find themselves at home and actively involved in our church family. We welcome you to join us as we learn more about Jesus and others, together.

Our vision and mission

"We want to be a door of hope, through Jesus Christ, in a fragile and uncertain world; and in order to do this we aspire to be Jesus centred, others focused, doing so together in community."

What we believe

At Door of Hope, we believe that through Jesus, we can be a door of spiritual, emotional, social and physical hope. We create places where people can find their inherent, created worth and purpose, and share life with one another.

We foster a welcoming community of people who are agents of positive transformation for our world through the work of the Holy Spirit.

We believe God is the creator of life and His desire is that each of us will discover His unconditional love, accept it as our own and begin to unfold the purpose He has for each of our lives.

Our key values are: Praying, Inviting, Connecting, Growing, Becoming & Giving.
