Hope Counselling provides confidential counselling for individuals aged 18+ who are seeking help to navigate life’s stressors, situations and relationships, both present and past.

Speaking with a counsellor can assist you with insights for positive change in your life and relationships.

In seeking to see a counsellor your concerns may include:

  • Relationship roadblocks
  • Hurts and difficulties
  • Feelings of sadness or anger
  • Stress and overload
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Grief and loss
  • Problematic patterns in behaviour such as addictive behaviours
  • Vague sense that all is not well
  • Problems in the family
  • Inability to forgive
  • Unresolved issues from the past, including past experiences of trauma

About Suzanne

An experienced counsellor, Suzanne McKane holds a Master of Counselling specialising in trauma support, and is a member of the Christian Counsellors Association Australia (CCAA).

"My gentle approach allows a person to explore their issues in a safe and confidential environment and at a pace that is appropriate for them. I work from a person-centred, strengths-based perspective informed by a number of evidence-based therapies including Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focussed therapy, CBT, IFS and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy."
