Hope Camp is an opportunity for Door Of Hope family and our unchurched friends to experience being an intergenerational community on mission. Our annual camp enables us to build deeper connections that continue throughout the year. We see our children form wonderful friendships, families develop close bonds and the richness of intergenerational connection.

Our rhythm is to have community events spaced out across the weekend so everyone can participate while leaving lots of free time for people to join with others, go and enjoy bike rides, or trips to the Berry Patch, games of golf or whatever takes your fancy. The trick is to find others to invite along.

Hope Camp Community Program

Friday Arrival:

- Arrivals begin from 1pm and can go late into the evening. Get settled into your site and welcome your neighbours. Pizza is a popular meal of choice for those weary from setting up camp.

Saturday Program:

- Welcome and Orientation - gather at the Camp Kitchen at 9:30 am
- Beach Activities hosted by Youth Team - located on West Ulverstone beach (2 pm - 4 pm)
- BBQ & Board/Card Games - begin with a sausage in bread served from Camp Kitchen at 5:30 pm and move into games hosted at various campsites.

Sunday Program:

- Beach Church - held on Black Jack Rock beach BYO chair
- Community Talent Night - bring your camp seat to the lawn surrounding the Camp Kitchen for an evening of sheer joy starting at 6:30 pm
