Sermon Series: Prepare the Way
In this six-part sermon series, we embark on a transformative journey through the life and ministry of John the Baptist, whose singular purpose was to prepare the hearts of the people for the coming of Jesus Christ, the true Light of the world.
In the opening stage, we focus on the powerful role of John the Baptist as a forerunner to Christ. John’s mission was clear: to bear witness to the Light, pointing others toward the salvation that was coming into the world through Jesus. In John 1:6-9, we are reminded that although John was not the light, he was chosen by God to testify to it, so that all might believe through him. This first stage is about spiritual preparation—creating space in our hearts to receive the coming of the Savior. Just as John called the people to repentance, we too are invited to reflect on how we can make ready the way for Christ in our own lives.
Join us as we explore how we, like John, can be witnesses of the Light in our world today, and discover the ways in which we can prepare the way for Christ’s presence to shine in and through us.
This series is an invitation to renew our faith, understand the purpose of John’s witness, and reflect on how God is calling each of us to testify to His Light in the world. Together, we will journey through this powerful and inspiring story of preparation, anticipation, and ultimately, transformation.
